Requirements

Tasks

Define architecture for satellite control and monitoring
Specify and integrate hardware and software components
Configure mission control components
Analyze requirements and define architecture for ground segments
Evaluate design trade-offs and manage interfaces
Create interface documents (ICD)
Specify hardware and software elements and redundancy concepts
Support the definition of ground segment operating concepts
Train satellite operators
Estimate costs for ground segment development and operation
Assist in system development, assembly, integration, and verification
Contribute to proposals, studies, and research activities
Manage procurement of software components
Collaborate with Space Segment Engineering, Performance Engineering, and Operations Engineering
