Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, IT, or related field, or equivalent work experience
  • Several years of security frameworks experience, focus on SAP BTP, SAP S/4HANA, non-SAP systems integration, ideally in regulated (GxP) environment
  • Deep expertise in SAP BTP security frameworks, SAP Cloud Identity Services, SAP security best practices, compliance requirements
  • Experience applying security design principles (least privilege, defense in depth, segregation of duties)
  • Hands-on experience with Single Sign-On (SSO), federated identity management, identity providers (Microsoft Entra ID or SAP Customer Data Cloud)
  • Proven experience designing/implementing role-based access control in distributed SAP environments
  • Familiarity with security standards (OAuth, SAML, OpenID Connect)
  • Understanding of data privacy regulations (GDPR, CCPA)
  • Experience working in DevOps and Agile environments
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Effective communication in international environments
  • Ability to work well under pressure

Tasks

  • Lead design, configuration, and customization of SAP BTP security services
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement security solutions
  • Analyze security requirements and define strategies
  • Provide technical guidance for efficient and secure integrations
  • Establish and maintain security strategies, standards, and guidelines
  • Act as service and system owner for SAP Cloud Identity Services
  • Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize authentication and authorization processes
  • Stay updated with SAP BTP innovations
  • Continuously improve security capabilities and best practices
  • Provide technical leadership and mentor team members
  • Manage collaboration with external IT providers and SAP (RISE with SAP)
