- Contribute to capability acquisition and improvement
- Understand and manage potential failure mechanisms and their consequences
- Develop models to characterize failure modes using various techniques
- Assess new and derivative design solutions for safety impact
- Deploy models at software, component, system, and asset levels
- Support function and part classification activities
- Extract insights and propose design improvements
- Influence product development and in-service management
- Coordinate and update safety and reliability documentation
- Collaborate with customers, suppliers, and regulatory authorities
