Requirements

  • •BSc, Master, or PhD in Computer Science or related disciplines
  • •Profound knowledge of Rust and C
  • •Experience with Rust-FFI
  • •Broad knowledge in concurrency and parallelism
  • •History of contributing to open-source projects in Rust
  • •Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automated testing
  • •Passion for software quality and performance
  • •Fluency in written and spoken English

Tasks

  • •Integrate OpenHarmony support into key Rust crates
  • •Analyze and integrate a high-performance Rust UI framework
  • •Contribute to the development of a next-generation web rendering engine
  • •Develop algorithms to enhance concurrency and performance
  • •Integrate the web rendering engine as a webview in OpenHarmony apps
  • •Investigate optimization opportunities for devices on the HongMeng kernel
  • •Collaborate with internal stakeholders and the Rust community
  • •Engage with the OpenHarmony community
