- Translate system requirements into designs
- Perform system-level and component-level trade studies
- Integrate analytical results into the design
- Support engine integration, assembly, and testing
- Resolve anomalies during test campaigns
- Coordinate design changes through the engineering change process
- Maintain documentation for design changes
- Collaborate closely with analysis, manufacturing, procurement, quality, and suppliers
- Communicate with suppliers about manufacturability and design requirements
- Review supplier drawings for compliance
