In this role, you will be at the forefront of designing innovative rocket engine subsystems, translating complex requirements into practical designs, and collaborating with various teams to ensure successful integration and testing of cutting-edge aerospace technology.

Requirements

• •Degree in Space Engineering, Aerospace Engineering (M.Sc.) or similar
• •Minimum of 2 years of full-time experience
• •Profound understanding of rocket engine design process and subsystems
• •Profound understanding of physics, fluid dynamics, manufacturing processes, rocket engine/propulsion systems
• •Profound understanding of manufacturing methods of rocket engine components
• •Proactive thinking, high level of motivation, flexibility, and teamwork skills
• •Proficiency in both German and English
• •Knowledge of Creo is an advantage
• •Experience with qualification/certification
• •Work experience in a start-up environment

Tasks

• •Design rocket engine subsystems and components
• •Translate system requirements into designs
• •Perform system-level and component-level trade studies
• •Integrate analytical results into the design
• •Support engine integration, assembly, and testing
• •Resolve anomalies during test campaigns
• •Coordinate design changes through the engineering change process
• •Maintain documentation for design changes
• •Collaborate closely with analysis, manufacturing, procurement, quality, and suppliers
• •Communicate with suppliers about manufacturability and design requirements
• •Review supplier drawings for compliance
