RMTS System-Engineer(m/w/x)

Description

As a Systems Engineer, you will engage with diverse engineering teams while ensuring safety and reliability standards are met. Your role will involve conducting analyses, collaborating on designs, and presenting critical findings to stakeholders.

Requirements

• •Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Eng., Computer Eng., Systems Engineering, Communications Eng., Aerospace Eng. or equivalent
• •NATO-citizenship and existing security clearance advantageous
• •Enhanced knowledge about aerospace equipment
• •Collaboration with multiple engineering domains
• •Basic understanding of circuit diagram analysis
• •Experience in schematics design
• •Experience in Safety Analysis on LRU and/or platform systems level
• •Experience in problem solving within given boundary conditions
• •Experience in requirement capturing
• •Application of DO254 / DO178B/C / ARP4754 standards
• •Interpersonal quality (teamplayer)
• •English B2+/C minimum; German B2 or better optional
• •Experience with specific tools
• •DOORS and/or JAMA
• •Jira
• •ALM
• •MS Office suite
• •Tortoise SVN
• •PTC Windchill
• •Supporting knowledge/experience
• •Familiar with typical avionic signal standards
• •MIL-Bus 1553, ARINC 429, RS232, Ethernet
• •Familiar with typical computer signal standards
• •Ethernet, PCIe, SATA, IIC

Tasks

• •Collaborate with international engineering teams
• •Provide evidence for airworthiness design standards
• •Review and approve subsystem development planning
• •Ensure completeness of the Safety Program Plan
• •Align development methods with safety assessment objectives
• •Perform Safety Analyses (SFHA, PSSA, SSA)
• •Conduct reliability predictions and analysis
• •Prepare failure mode effects and criticality analysis (FMECA)
• •Develop Failure Catalogue for Line Replaceable Units (LRU)
• •Work with design engineers to integrate reliability requirements
• •Present reliability findings to management and customers
