Requirements

  • •Masters or PhD degree in Telecommunications, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or Information Technologies
  • •5 or more years of experience in research activities in mobile communications networks or system engineering and development
  • •Demonstrated research capability from leading edge publications or patent submissions
  • •Excellent understanding of up-to-date physical layer techniques
  • •Deep understanding of AI/ML techniques and their applications in wireless communication
  • •Fluency in English; German considered a plus
  • •Excellent interpersonal skills and team spirit; experience with Asian business culture considered a plus
  • •Well-organized, independent working style with a hands-on attitude
  • •Good presentation and reporting skills

Tasks

  • •Develop advanced physical layer techniques for communication systems beyond 5G and 6G
  • •Propose and identify research directions for next generation radio technologies
  • •Enhance air interface performance using advanced AI/ML techniques
  • •Contribute to concepts for enabling vertical and emerging new services
  • •Participate in relevant standardization bodies, including 3GPP
  • •Contribute to IPR generation
  • •Engage in international and national funded research projects
