Requirements
- •Diploma or master’s degree in electrical, power, control engineering, mechatronics, or engineering management
- •Basic understanding of electrical energy systems
- •Familiarity with control engineering and grid modeling
- •Experience with MATLAB and PSCAD
- •Experience with test benches and related challenges
- •Initial experience with SIL, MIL, or HIL
- •Good command of German and English
Education
Tasks
- •Support the commissioning of a converter test bench
- •Optimize and expand test benches using PHiL approaches
- •Work with real-time systems and grid models
- •Investigate transient events within grid models
- •Develop test methods for harmonic and EMT model validation
- •Design validation methods for grid-forming characteristics
- •Implement requirements in grid emulator control systems
- •Write scientific reports and publications
- •Manage and lead research and development projects
- •Prepare and execute measurement campaigns abroad
- •Maintain contact with international customers and partners
