Remote Processing Station Operator (RPSO)(m/w/x)
As a Remote Processing Station Operator, you will manage operations for Global Prepositioned Materiel Services, ensuring reports are processed, software programs are developed, and systems are maintained across various locations. This role involves troubleshooting, coordinating with support teams, and upholding safety and quality standards.
Requirements
- Proficiency in personal computers and Windows Operating System
- Knowledge of PC applications, CD-ROM, LAN, and emulation boards
- Experience in programming
- Experience with Sperry 1100/60 and 2200 computer systems
- Possession of valid home country driver’s license
- Ability to operate material handling equipment
- High School diploma or equivalent
- 3 to 5 years experience with USAF or US service equivalent computer systems
- Maximo experience
- Authorization to work in host country
- Bachelor's degree plus 3 years specialized experience, or associate's degree plus 7 years specialized experience, or major certification plus 7 years specialized experience, or 11 years specialized experience
- Eligibility to obtain and maintain US Secret Security Clearance
- Working knowledge of ESS/ILSS
- Working knowledge of manual and automated supply accounting systems
- Working knowledge of 635th SCOW and USAFE policies and procedures
- Ability to travel domestically and internationally
- Physical capability to lift/push/pull minimum of 50 lbs
Tasks
- Prepare schedules for processing reports and listings
- Write and debug programs for special project requirements
- Process Query Language Programs (QLP) for custom reports
- Develop and maintain Microsoft Access database applications
- Coordinate with Computer Support Base systems monitor for equipment issues
- Perform computer operator maintenance at assigned locations
- Troubleshoot and correct SBSS terminal problems
- Control output of accountable documents from the RPS
- Distribute reports, listings, and accountable documents to AOR locations
- Obtain and monitor user identification codes and transaction codes
- Upload necessary Microsoft Windows programs to SBSS terminals
- Ensure proper functioning of communication lines with technicians
- Complete all safety training and participate in emergency response tasks
- Comply with Amentum Quality Policy and customer satisfaction standards
- Implement operational, safety, quality, and environmental requirements
