Regional EHS&S Manager(m/w/x)

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in safety science, engineering, industrial hygiene, environmental science, or chemical engineering
• 10+ years of relevant experience
• Good comprehension of management systems (ex: ISO) and risk-based prioritization
• Working knowledge of occupational safety, health, and environmental laws and regulations
• Effective facilitation and communication skills
• Recognizable leadership skills and ability to lead teams
• Project management skills in organizing work and meeting deadlines
• Ability to make engineering recommendations for safety improvements

Tasks

• Manage health, safety, and environmental programs
• Coach and influence staff on EHS&S practices
• Promote a culture of continuous improvement
• Develop and implement EHS&S programs and policies
• Ensure compliance with regulations and internal requirements
• Maintain and monitor the compliance assurance system
• Prepare compliance plans and conduct audits
• Identify EHS&S training needs and deliver training programs
• Develop and coach local EHS team members
• Advise plant operations on regulatory and company requirements
• Identify trends to reduce risks and improve EHS&S systems
• Participate in product and process reviews
• Perform industrial hygiene and environmental sampling
• Coordinate monitoring to ensure regulatory compliance
• Manage relationships with regulatory agencies and stakeholders
