- •Good comprehension of management systems (ex: ISO) and risk-based prioritization
- •Working knowledge of occupational safety, health, and environmental laws and regulations
- •Effective facilitation and communication skills
- •Recognizable leadership skills and ability to lead teams
- •Project management skills in organizing work and meeting deadlines
- •Ability to make engineering recommendations for safety improvements

- •Prepare compliance plans and conduct audits
- •Identify EHS&S training needs and deliver training programs
- •Develop and coach local EHS team members
- •Advise plant operations on regulatory and company requirements
- •Identify trends to reduce risks and improve EHS&S systems
- •Participate in product and process reviews
- •Perform industrial hygiene and environmental sampling
- •Coordinate monitoring to ensure regulatory compliance
- •Manage relationships with regulatory agencies and stakeholders
