- 10+ years progressive industrial B2B sales leadership experience
- Driver's license
- Strong leadership, customer focus, and business acumen
- Exceptional relationship-building capabilities, advanced negotiation, communication, and presentation skills
- Leading geographically distributed sales teams and developing sales managers; managing multi-country, remote, multi-office teams
- Proven regional P&L or revenue ownership
- Strong forecasting, competitive analysis, and cross-functional partnership skills
Tasks
- Lead customer account specialists, distribution sales managers, international sales, and business development teams
- Manage Customer Experience and Sales Enablement teams
- Develop and execute territory plans
- Build and manage sales pipelines
- Conduct performance management and coaching
- Train and develop team members
- Drive continuous improvement through performance and development processes
- Mentor sales teams
- Conduct market analysis and forecasting
- Manage budgets and customer strategies
- Develop regional sales strategies
- Set pricing, promotions, and product mix
- Plan long-range growth
- Identify market share opportunities
- Strengthen competitive positioning
- Forecast and negotiate major deals
- Analyze sales metrics
- Collaborate on strategic initiatives
- Evaluate and appoint distributors
- Manage distributor performance
- Build distributor competencies
- Support joint customer development
- Monitor distributor health
- Track pipeline discipline and conversion rates
- Ensure market coverage and financial hygiene
- Partner with marketing, supply chain, product management, and finance
- Meet account requirements and internal capabilities
- Maintain accurate opportunity funnels in Salesforce
- Provide weekly and monthly pipeline reports
- Highlight risks and shipment delays to leadership
- Ensure timely responsiveness to customers
- Foster seamless cross-functional collaboration
- Influence technical and business stakeholders
- Track market trends and competitor activity
- Monitor pricing dynamics and product gaps
