In this role, you will engage with various aspects of insurance accounting, including managing data, ensuring quality, preparing financial statements, and collaborating with key stakeholders. Your contributions will support innovation and process enhancements within Allianz Direct.

Tasks

• •Manage insurance accounting data for Allianz Direct
• •Ensure data quality and perform analysis for management transparency
• •Calculate provisions according to German GAAP
• •Reconcile insurance receivables and payables in a timely manner
• •Validate data for reporting to reinsurers
• •Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements promptly, including analysis of intercompany differences
• •Apply internal and external accounting standards, including German Accounting principles and IFRS
• •Define accounting requirements for new products and test their implementation
• •Contribute to projects and initiatives as needed
• •Collaborate closely with the accounting function, actuaries, and Allianz RE
