Requirements

  • Enrolled student in chemistry, biochemistry, chemical biology, or related field, or comparable master's program, or gap year
  • Knowledge of organic chemistry and protein biochemistry, first experiences advantageous
  • Knowledge and experience in instrumental analytics (e.g. UV-Vis, HPLC)
  • Basic knowledge of immunology advantageous
  • Enjoy approaching people and developing concepts with a team
  • Creative and likes to put ideas into practice
  • Independent organization and structuring of daily work
  • Good spoken and written English skills
  • Enrolled student in chemistry, biochemistry, chemical biology, or related area or a comparable master’s degree program or in gap year
  • Knowledge of organic chemistry and protein biochemistry, first hand experience advantageous
  • Knowledge and experience in instrumental analytics (e.g. UV-Vis, HPLC)
  • Basic knowledge of immunology advantageous
  • Enjoy approaching people and developing concepts with a team

  • Good spoken and written English skills

Tasks

  • Participate in research projects
  • Optimize antibody-based reagents
  • Perform antibody purification techniques
  • Conjugate antibodies using site-specific and nonspecific labeling
  • Purify conjugated antibodies
  • Evaluate reagent performance on Cobas e-analyzer
  • Review scientific literature
  • Present research findings
  • Collaborate with Chemistry, Protein Chemistry, Antibody Development, and Enzyme Technology teams
