Requirements

  • Degree in Mechanical Engineering or comparable field
  • Several years of professional experience in R&D or design engineering
  • Experience in hydraulics (strong advantage)
  • Hands-on experience with 3D CAD design
  • Hands-on experience with SAP R/3
  • Hands-on experience with technical documentation
  • Strong knowledge of relevant standards and regulations
  • Experience in planning tests and experiments
  • Experience in executing tests and experiments
  • Experience in analyzing tests and experiments
  • Strong technical mindset
  • Interest in business processes
  • Interest in product lifecycle
  • Fluency in German (written and spoken)
  • Fluency in English (written and spoken)

Tasks

  • Design and implement innovative technical concepts using 3D CAD tools
  • Create standard-compliant 2D drawings
  • Analyze and implement engineering changes
  • Approve engineering changes for product lifecycle management
  • Dimension and design components based on technical requirements
  • Conduct tolerance analyses and derive design improvements
  • Plan and execute validation tests
  • Coordinate validation tests with external laboratories
  • Prepare and maintain technical documentation
  • Propose enhancements to existing designs
  • Simplify test setups and data evaluation processes
  • Contribute to global, cross-functional teams and initiatives
