Quality specialist(m/w/x)
Serial production quality coordination for heavy-duty turbocharging and fuel injection components. Supplier process evaluation with on-site inspections. Bachelor's in mechanical/industrial engineering and 3-5 years quality experience required. Childcare, flexible working model.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, industrial engineering, or similar technical field
- Good understanding of technical drawings and specifications
- At least 3–5 years of experience as a quality specialist or in a similar role
- Good knowledge of quality control at suppliers
- Familiarity with ISO 9001 and other industry-specific quality standards
- Strong knowledge of quality tools and methodologies (APQP, FMEA, MSA, SPC, PPAP)
- Good knowledge of SAP and MS Office applications
- Knowledge of Lean Six Sigma and Green Belt certificate is an advantage
- Experience in supplier audits and process validations is an advantage
- Strong ability to work together with different departments
- Experience in an international environment and strong communication skills
- Very good German and English skills, spoken and written
- Willingness to travel internationally, up to 20%
Tasks
- Coordinate and release production processes to ensure quality in serial production
- Evaluate supplier processes and define improvement actions
- Check risk analyses and ensure production and inspection plans are complete and effective
- Support suppliers during the sample process with professional guidance
- Perform on-site inspections at suppliers and document results
- Requalify released processes at suppliers for specific parts
- Ensure part quality in collaboration with technical purchasing and incoming goods inspection
- Lead projects to improve processes
- Create and analyze quality KPIs and define actions based on findings
- Participate in procurement technical analysis
