Requirements
- Relevant experience in quality engineering
- Hands-on experience with 8D Reports
- Hands-on experience with SCAR (Supplier Corrective Action Requests)
- Hands-on experience with AQL (Acceptance Quality Limit)
- Solid understanding of ISO 9001 or similar quality standards
- Strong analytical skills
- Strong documentation skills
- Business-level English
- German skills beneficial
- Experience with custom mechanical/electronic components
- Audit experience (internal or supplier audits)
- Familiarity with ERP or QMS systems
- Experience supporting or scaling hardware production
Tasks
- Perform first sample inspections for new custom parts
- Plan and prioritize incoming inspections using AQL frameworks
- Coordinate quality checks for serial production parts
- Document and track nonconformities
- Communicate nonconformity findings to suppliers
- Manage supplier corrective action processes (8D, SCAR)
- Ensure sustainable resolution of quality issues
- Conduct supplier evaluations and risk assessments
- Perform on-site or remote supplier audits
- Define and coordinate outgoing inspections for critical components
- Take ownership of supplier quality KPIs
- Drive measurable improvements in nonconformity rates
- Drive measurable improvements in supplier response/resolution times
- Maintain and improve incoming goods inspection documentation
- Identify systemic issues
- Implement sustainable improvements
- Ensure compliance with ISO 9001
- Ensure compliance with internal quality standards
