Quality Assurance Manager(m/w/x)
Product quality planning and design validation for high-tech illumination and optical systems. 8-10 years manufacturing quality experience in high-tech industrial settings required. Work in a highly regulated high-tech manufacturing environment.
Requirements
- Completed B.Sc. in electrical, mechanical, industrial engineering, comparable technical field, or similar technical training
- 8-10 years professional experience in manufacturing or regulated environment
- Proven experience in manufacturing quality in high-tech industrial environment
- Knowledge of statistical methods, preferably Six Sigma training (Green/Black Belt)
- Advantage: In-depth knowledge of ISO 14971 (risk management) and ISO 13485
- Desirable: Experience with Lean Enterprise, Six Sigma, Kaizen, or comparable methods
- Advantage: Experience in supplier quality management and NPI process management
- Very good communication and teamwork skills
- Good knowledge of MS Office (especially MS Project)
- Plus: Certifications like ASQ Certified Quality Engineer or ASQ Black Belt
Tasks
- Plan and control product quality.
- Qualify products.
- Validate product designs.
- Conduct process analyses for continuous improvement.
- Apply statistical methods and Six Sigma tools.
- Manage In-Process Quality Assurance (IQA).
- Perform final inspections.
- Oversee customer and supplier quality.
- Handle customer complaints.
- Ensure products comply with customer specifications and standards.
- Communicate with customers on quality feedback.
- Address customer deviations and specifications.
- Interface with the management team.
- Serve as the main contact for quality issues.
- Manage and support quality engineers.
- Lead and contribute to process and product improvement.
- Assist with new product introductions.
- Develop specifications for new products.
- Conduct testing for new products.
- Maintain and improve the site-wide ISO 9001 quality management system.
- Plan and conduct internal and external audits.
- Prepare quality reports.
- Prepare root cause analyses.
