QHSSE Project Advisor Marine(m/w/x)
On-site safety oversight for offshore seismic survey vessels and geotechnical marine operations. Master’s degree in engineering or environmental sciences with 5-8 years HSE experience required. Facilitation of emergency-preparedness workshops and project data analysis.
Requirements
- Master’s degree in geotechnical, geophysical engineering, environmental sciences, or related field
- 5-8 years experience in HSE and project management
- Experience in offshore, marine, geotechnical, geophysical, or seismic survey environments
- Understanding of offshore/marine safety legislation and industry standards
- NEBOSH, IOSH, STCW and/or BOSIET certifications as an advantage
- Experience with risk management and root cause analysis methods
- Experience in internal and external audits as an advantage
- Experience with Microsoft Office 365, databases, and Sharepoint
- Knowledge of HSE tools for incident analysis as an advantage
- Coordination of diverse stakeholders and multicultural collaboration
- Proactive analytical strengths and confident communication skills
- Independent working style, solution-orientation, and hands-on mentality
- Willingness to travel
- Excellent written and spoken German and English
Tasks
- Support operational teams during marine vessel operations
- Ensure compliance with internal, client, and legal requirements
- Develop and update project-specific QHSSE documentation
- Facilitate risk, learning, and emergency-preparedness workshops
- Analyze and report project QHSSE data and trends
- Define SMART measures and corrective actions
- Conduct regular internal and external audits and inspections
- Perform site visits on marine vessels
- Act as the primary client interface for QHSSE
- Drive project-specific QHSSE training and awareness programs
- Promote a strong safety culture
- Roll out corporate QHSSE strategies and objectives
