Requirements
- Hands-on experience in analytical methodologies (pH measurement, UV-Vis, turbidity)
- Experience with HPLC, Elisa or similar technologies (plus)
- Experience with GMP (plus)
- Apprenticeship or equivalent in Analytical Chemistry, Biochemistry or related field
- Fluency in written and spoken English
- German language skills (asset)
- Enjoyment of routine analytical testing
- Desire to set up and shape a new laboratory
Tasks
- Perform routine analytical testing of Drug Products
- Execute physical, chemical, and bioanalytical methods
- Ensure accurate documentation and compliance with GDP and SOPs
- Take ownership of key lab activities (HPLC, CE-SDS, UV, ELISA)
- Contribute to building a new laboratory setup
- Execute and coordinate physico-chemical and biochemical assays
- Review assays according to method SOPs
- Document assay execution following Good Documentation Practices
- Flag relevant observations to the supervisor
- Prepare mobile phases
- Calibrate equipment
- Adhere to and maintain 6S standards
- Manage consumables
- Support equipment maintenance
- Participate in validation and transfer activities
- Prepare for new project introductions
- Support audit readiness
- Assist in customer and regulatory audits
- Conduct investigations and troubleshooting for assigned tasks
