Requirements
- Hands-on QA Engineer enjoying ownership and building scalable testing systems
- 3+ years software quality assurance experience
- Strong test automation experience (ideally Playwright)
- Solid programming skills (Python and/or TypeScript)
- Experience with testing frameworks (e.g. pytest or similar)
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, version control, and Docker
- Comfortable working in Linux environments
- Ability to work independently and take ownership of test planning
- Experience with AWS or cloud-based systems
- Exposure to medical software or regulated environments (FDA, CE)
- Experience with performance or load testing
- Basic understanding of security testing
Tasks
- Take ownership of test planning for releases
- Define test scope for releases
- Keep test documentation up to date
- Build automated tests using Playwright
- Maintain automated tests using Playwright
- Test frontend systems
- Test backend systems
- Test cloud-based infrastructure (AWS)
- Validate cloud-based infrastructure (AWS)
- Ensure reliable production operation of cloud infrastructure
- Work closely with engineers
- Work closely with product managers
- Work closely with regulatory stakeholders
- Ensure smooth releases
- Ensure high-quality releases
- Investigate bugs
- Identify bug root causes
- Improve overall product stability
- Track quality over time
- Improve quality over time
- Analyze bugs per release metrics
- Analyze test coverage metrics
- Challenge testing approaches
- Improve testing approaches as a team
