Requirements

  • 8 or more years' experience in Project-based Engineering role or Previous Proposal Experience in Industrial Automation
  • BSc in Electrical Engineering discipline or equivalent engineering experience
  • Familiarity with Allen Bradley/Rockwell products
  • Skills in defining automation solutions and costing for technical projects
  • Commercial flair to support Sales in winning proposed projects
  • Full working proficiency in both German and English
  • Background in industries like Life Science and Food and Beverage
  • Further education in engineering, computer science or project management
  • Control System Architecture Design (Client Server) experience
  • Experience using a CRM system

Tasks

  • Oversee proposal generation based on customer requirements
  • Prepare and present quotes, sales proposals, and contracts
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and obtain necessary approvals
  • Consult with departments on pricing, product specifications, and warranties
  • Analyze customer requirements for process control system solutions
  • Support sales efforts with pre-sales activities and LCS demonstrations
  • Create or coordinate effort estimates for engineering work
  • Coordinate the bidding process progress
  • Manage proposal development with contract management, finance, and technical consulting teams
