Project Manager Defence (JointFire)(m/w/x)

Description

In this role, you will be the key liaison for international customers, managing project execution and ensuring user requirements are met. Your responsibilities include coordinating teams, creating system specifications, and supporting training and marketing efforts.

Requirements

• •Completed degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Mechanical Engineering, Physics, or comparable field
• •Knowledge of procurement processes
• •Knowledge of operational procedures
• •Knowledge in the field of artillery
• •Military and operational experience in deployment of artillery systems
• •Experience in project and product management
• •Basic knowledge of systems engineering
• •Willingness to travel (30 - 40%)
• •Business fluent in German & English (spoken and written)
• •Awareness of compliance risks and commitment to integrity

Tasks

• •Act as the central point of contact for the end customer on-site internationally
• •Manage and control the project, monitoring and adapting the planning as needed
• •Coordinate and integrate functions involved in the project team from the matrix organization
• •Determine and verify user requirements at system and subsystem levels
• •Create and evaluate system concepts, architectures, and specifications
• •Develop test documentation, including mechanical and electrical drawing sets
• •Support integration and qualification tests, acceptance procedures, and training
• •Prepare presentations for national and international meetings
• •Maintain customer contact throughout the projects
• •Provide instruction and support for on-the-job training of end users on-site
• •Assist in the international marketing of defence systems and components
