Description

As a Project Coordinator, you will manage cargo and project shipments while ensuring operational efficiency and profitability. This role involves liaising with clients, negotiating with subcontractors, and supporting the sales team, all within a dynamic global business environment.

Requirements

• •Completion of training in freight forwarding
• •Work experience in freight forwarding industry
• •Proven track record in logistics operations, coordination, and management
• •Know-how in freight forwarding; experience in ocean freight, including break bulk
• •Familiarity with Microsoft Word and Excel
• •Good organizational skills and attention to detail
• •Excellent communication skills (cross-functional and cross-cultural)
• •Ability to communicate in English and German, both written and verbal

Tasks

• •Handle and manage general cargo and project shipments
• •Oversee operational and cost control aspects
• •Serve as a point of contact for clients and partners
• •Ship various types of cargo, including out-of-gauge and heavy lift
• •Coordinate and negotiate with subcontractors
• •Source competitive rates from potential subcontractors
• •Calculate and monitor project profits
• •Support the sales team in preparing offers and proposals
• •Administer daily business activities in a global environment
• •Assist management with reporting and other tasks
