- Experience in micro- and nanoscale manufacturing and process technologies
- Proven track record in acquiring third-party funding
- Experience in leading or coordinating research projects
- Strong teaching competence and commitment to high-quality teaching
- Research experience in biointegrated microsystems for diagnostics and therapy
- Research experience in microfluidics and lab-on-chip systems
- Research experience in miniaturized, implantable, or bioresorbable sensors
- Research experience in flexible or body-worn sensor systems
- Research experience in micro- and nanoscale (bio)materials
- Research experience in micro-/nanostructuring with additive manufacturing
- Research experience in intelligent microsystems with sensor–actuator integration
- Experience in translational research and industry/clinical cooperation
- Knowledge in microelectronics or semiconductor physics (advantageous)
- Strong teamwork and cooperation skills
- High level of motivation for teaching
- Ability to convey complex content in structured manner
- German language skills (at least level C1)
- English language skills
- Compliance with Section 49 Higher Education Act Rhineland-Palatinate
Tasks
- Teach foundational and specialized courses in life sciences and engineering
- Develop an independent research profile within university focus areas
- Conduct application-oriented research with academic and industrial partners
- Advance cleanroom process technologies for teaching and research
- Manage and expand the cleanroom technical infrastructure
- Participate in academic self-governance and committee work
- Design learning-objective-focused courses and examination formats
- Refine teaching methods based on evaluation results
- Collaborate with internal, external, and international partner universities
- Contribute to the continuous development of degree programs
