- •Expand KIT's role in research, teaching, and innovation
- •Establish novel methods for designing and operating particle accelerators
- •Develop new concepts for future accelerators
- •Ensure efficient autonomous operation of existing accelerators
- •Implement innovative methods for operating accelerators in nonequilibrium states
- •Create accelerator designs with reduced size and improved stability
- •Enhance cost and energy efficiency of existing and novel systems
- •Diagnose and control instabilities in accelerators in real-time
- •Demonstrate research results at the Accelerator Technology Platform test facilities
- •Lead a working group on autonomous particle accelerators at IBPT
- •Participate in program-oriented funding from the Helmholtz Association
- •Research new accelerator technologies and electron beam control methods
- •Collaborate with colleagues in physics, electrical engineering, and computer science
- •Raise third-party funding from national and international sources
- •Support the transfer of scientific results into practical applications
- •Participate in teaching courses, special lectures, and export lectures
- •Execute large-scale research tasks with a teaching obligation of 6 hours per week per semester
