Description

In this role, you will engage in teaching and supervising students in Gisma's Bachelor and Master programmes while actively contributing to programme development and quality assurance. You will also focus on research, partnerships, and student recruitment.

Requirements

• •Completed university studies
• •Proof of extraordinary qualification for scientific work in the form of an outstanding doctorate and/or outstanding scientific publications
• •Qualified professional experience in the field of the professorship, at least three years, two of them outside of a university after having obtained a master’s degree or equivalent
• •Experience in teaching in university classrooms, with blended and online approaches
• •High affinity for digitalisation topics
• •Strong expertise in core areas of mathematics, including computer-science–relevant topics
• •Comfortable using essential computational tools, including simple scripting in Python, basic command-line/terminal operations, version control with Git, and preparing scholarly documents in LaTeX
• •Internationally experienced and fluent in English for teaching and research purposes
• •Significant publications
• •Research experience, ideally including the acquisition of funding
• •Providing new innovative directions for research and teaching
• •Experience in curriculum development and accreditation processes
