Description

As a Product Engineer, you will engage in diverse projects, ranging from sales to R&D, while collaborating with teams and customers. Your role involves developing technical concepts, performing cost calculations, and providing essential training and support during project delivery.

Requirements

• •Suitable technical degree (M.Sc. or B.Sc.)
• •Solid knowledge and technical experience in air emission control & flue gas treatment
• •Result-oriented and customer-focused
• •Good communication skills
• •Ability to prioritize work in high-pressure environment
• •Willingness to travel about 30-50 days a year
• •Fluent English and German skills, both spoken and written
• •Good communication skills and solution-oriented mindset

Tasks

• •Work on sales, customer order, and R&D projects
• •Conduct process and product studies, calculations, and dimensioning
• •Provide commissioning support, test-runs, training, and site visits
• •Assist customers with troubleshooting and improvements
• •Perform process follow-up, analyses, and inputs for service agreements
• •Maintain customer contacts and support in agreements and projects
• •Collaborate closely with Valmet disciplines, sub-suppliers, and customers
• •Define technical concepts and equipment dimensioning in sales projects
• •Prepare technical specifications and cost calculations with stakeholders
• •Continue engineering in delivery projects with other disciplines
• •Deliver theoretical training and support commissioning for customers
