Product Development Engineer - Data Analytics and AI(m/w/x)

Requirements

• Degree in scientific areas or equivalent
• Three years' experience in Material Science
• Understanding of polymer structure and characterization
• Ambition for data analytics and science
• Experience in AI and data management
• Knowledge of data architecture and processing
• Computer skills and Microsoft Office experience
• Basic understanding of Python and PowerApps
• Application of mathematics and statistics
• Experience in inter-functional project management
• Professionalism, creativity, and enthusiasm
• Good communication skills and teamwork
• Fluent in English

Tasks

• Support the data management pipeline from source to AI models
• Relate various data sources and structures to one another
• Resolve data issues throughout the pipeline
• Act as the key liaison between product development and AI/ML tools
• Improve and expand Machine Learning model capabilities
• Maximize value creation through product development activities
• Leverage structured datasets to build improved reporting tools
• Report on products, properties, and raw materials
• Identify opportunities for materials improvement and recipe optimization
• Collaborate on cost reduction with product and asset management teams
• Develop new PP Compounds for target applications and specific OEMs
• Support the commercialization of PP Compounds
• Manage quality, manufacturing, and OEM approvals
• Manage a specific set of raw materials
• Work with suppliers to expand product capabilities
• Develop best practice technologies
• Communicate with the technology team
• Act as the technical focal point for customers and OEMs
• Follow all HSE and safety guidelines
• Address customer problems related to materials
