Tasks
- Lead design initiatives across product squads
- Collaborate with product managers and engineers
- Drive strategic design decisions
- Build and nurture a high-performing design team
- Establish design culture and processes
- Mentor 3 product designers
- Provide regular feedback to designers
- Participate in recruiting efforts
- Facilitate design critiques
- Set quality standards
- Assign projects based on designer strengths
- Conduct performance reviews
- Set team objectives
- Define and communicate design vision
- Oversee design system development
- Ensure design consistency and scalability
- Establish efficient design workflows
- Define design-to-development handoff processes
- Implement automation solutions
- Create and maintain design pattern libraries
- Develop usability guidelines
- Lead complex design initiatives
- Conduct user research studies
- Synthesize insights to inform design
- Create wireframes and prototypes
- Leverage user data for design decisions
- Ensure designs meet accessibility standards
- Partner with VP Product and stakeholders
