Product Assurance Engineer(m/w/x)
PA/QA process optimization for the Galileo satellite constellation, leading Observation and Anomaly Review Boards. Experience in quantitative Product Assurance with metrics and KPIs from a highly-regulated industry required. 30 days annual leave, plus extra days off on 24.12., 31.12., Shrove Tuesday.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Aerospace Engineering, Software Engineering, Telecommunications, or similar relevant technical field
- Experience in Product Assurance or Quality Assurance, preferably also in Software Quality Assurance
- Experience in quantitative Product Assurance with metrics and KPIs, preferably from a highly-regulated industry
- Ability to work under pressure and in a fast-changing environment with many stakeholders, often with differing interests
- Experience in working in multidisciplinary teams
- Structured way of working, attention to detail
- Experience in Systems Engineering or Project Management would be an asset
- Knowledge of programming languages (e.g. Python) and experience with AI/Machine Learning tools will be considered an asset
- Knowledge of ECSS standards would be an asset
- Previous experience in the Galileo project would be beneficial but is not essential
- Advanced level of English is mandatory, German is a plus
Tasks
- Contribute to the development and optimization of PA/QA processes
- Check the implementation of processes and ensure adherence to metrics and KPIs
- Prepare and lead daily and weekly Observation Review Boards
- Coordinate weekly Anomaly Review Boards, including agenda preparation and discussion moderation
- Follow up on ticket and anomaly resolution through internal meetings and offline coordination
- Provide PA support for deployment activities
- Perform internal and external process audits
- Contribute to risk management and lessons learned processes
- Prepare monthly and quarterly PA reports for the customer
- Support LEOP missions as PA Manager on console after training and certification
