Product Assurance Engineer - Operations(m/w/x)

Ensuring end-to-end product quality for satellites and launchers, acting as the primary quality interface. Aerospace engineering background with knowledge of EN9100 and space certification processes required. At least 5 weeks vacation, with option to buy more.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree (MSc) or equivalent in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field
  • Relevant experience in Quality and Continuous Improvement
  • Knowledge of EN9100, ECSS, NASA and MIL standards
  • Knowledge of space certification processes
  • Experience applying Quality preventive methodology (5Why, Ishikawa Fishbone)
  • Ability to understand and analyze complex products/systems
  • Ability to work autonomously and coordinate complex tasks
  • Excellent written and oral communication in English
  • Availability to travel to other Business Units and Launch Site(s)
  • Proficiency in German and French languages
  • Experience in other Space companies
  • Auditor Certification (e.g. ISO9001:2015 IRCA)

Tasks

  • Own end-to-end product quality
  • Ensure compliance with customer, internal, and regulatory requirements
  • Act as primary quality interface for the product line
  • Drive continuous improvement of product and process quality
  • Ensure robust product acceptance and readiness
  • Monitor and report product quality performance
  • Execute Product Assurance activities
  • Prepare and maintain quality documentation
  • Support production for process stability and product conformity
  • Lead non-conformance management
  • Coordinate manufacturing and production readiness reviews
  • Support product and process validation and qualification
  • Support Design and Process FMECA activities
  • Prepare and coordinate quality reviews with the customer
  • Participate in internal and customer audits
  • Capture and drive Lessons Learned
  • Serve as Q-representative for Launch Campaigns
  • Provide on-site support at the launch site
