Procurement Manager(m/w/x)
Managing supplier selection and contract negotiation for Waste-to-X and Renewable Gas projects. Degree in Logistics, Business Admin, or Industrial Engineering required; energy sector experience preferred. 35-hour work week, 30 days vacation, Wellpass corporate fitness.
Requirements
- Completed degree in Logistics, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, or comparable qualification
- At least 2 years professional experience in purchasing/procurement
- Advantageous experience in energy, industrial, or plant engineering sector
- Strong knowledge of supply chain and procurement processes
- Excellent negotiation and contract management skills, including claims management
- Experience with ERP systems and MS Office
- Strong analytical, organizational, communication skills, and stakeholder management experience
- Very good German and English skills (C1), intercultural competence, and ability to work under pressure
Tasks
- Manage the procurement process from RFQ to warranty.
- Select, qualify, and manage suppliers.
- Maintain the supplier database (PEPP).
- Negotiate contracts, prices, and variations for optimal terms.
- Ensure compliance with procurement policies and risk management.
- Build and maintain sustainable supplier relationships.
- Ensure a competitive supplier environment for packages.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on project requirements.
- Monitor market trends and innovations for sourcing strategies.
- Leverage data analytics to improve processes and achieve KPIs.
- Optimize procurement processes using Lean principles.
- Apply product knowledge to evaluate supplier offers.
- Perform Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) analyses.
