Requirements

  • •MSc. or PhD in power electronics, electrical/electronic engineering, or power engineering
  • •Theoretical understanding of power electronic converter principles and components
  • •Desirable industrial experience in product development and release
  • •Hands-on experience in power converter prototype building
  • •Capability for analysis and design of power converter subsystems
  • •Self-reliance and autonomous target-oriented work style
  • •Willingness to learn and innovative thinking
  • •Fluency in English and willingness to learn German
  • •Advantageous knowledge of MatLab, Simulink, PLECS, or Python
  • •Work experience in a R&D laboratory environment

Tasks

  • •Identify and refine technical requirements with stakeholders
  • •Develop technology roadmaps for next-generation products
  • •Research novel power conversion architectures and topologies
  • •Design parameters and component layouts for converters
  • •Build prototypes and conduct laboratory validations
  • •Lead technical research projects for solar and BESS
  • •Generate novel ideas and file intellectual property
  • •Mentor and guide less experienced staff members
