Requirements

  • Degree in engineering or related field
  • Experience in braking systems functional safety
  • Experience with failure monitoring and diagnosis
  • Experience with automotive simulation and analysis tools
  • Familiarity with failure analysis methods
  • Familiarity with ISO 26262 standards
  • Fluent written and spoken English

Tasks

  • Lead independent functional safety development for intelligent chassis systems
  • Conduct HARA, FMEA, FTA, and DFA analyses
  • Define functional safety variation and failure diagnosis strategies
  • Establish safe state strategies for system and software levels
  • Review hardware and software designs and test specifications
  • Manage functional safety requirement collection and analysis
  • Write comprehensive system requirements specifications
  • Build system function modeling and simulations for HARA
  • Develop functional safety test scenarios and integration specifications
  • Formulate subsystem test plans and assist with execution
  • Provide technical support for DV/PV and mass production
  • Research state-of-the-art functional safety strategies for chassis systems
