Principal Embedded Software DevOps Engineer(m/w/x)

You will lead the evolution of the company's CI/CD infrastructure, driving operational excellence and automation to enhance the development of life-saving robotic surgical technologies.

Requirements

• •Interest in Ansible
• •Knowledge of cross-compiling and Debian packaging
• •Expertise in CMake
• •Expertise in Git commands and solutions
• •Passion for task automation
• •Strong Linux administration skills
• •Enjoyment of DevOps for embedded devices
• •Degree in Computer Science or equivalent
• •Several years of relevant work experience
• •Master's Degree or PhD preferred
• •Strong software engineering process skills
• •Experience with embedded build environments
• •Expert level automation skills
• •Deep knowledge of Agile principles
• •Linux administration experience (Ubuntu/RHEL preferred)
• •Strong expertise in Python and Shell
• •Solid understanding of Docker
• •Knowledge of DevOps monitoring systems
• •Ideally more than 5 years experience
• •Desirable expertise in large scale Git
• •Forecasting and budgeting experience (nice to have)

Tasks

• •Support the full embedded software development life cycle
• •Architect and maintain end-to-end CI/CD systems
• •Manage Atlassian tools and JFrog Artifactory
• •Lead a DevOps team in operating SCM infrastructure
• •Automate release deployments across all environment stacks
• •Debug build issues for multi-target embedded architectures
• •Identify system problem areas and craft efficient solutions
• •Define SCM roadmaps with partners and leadership
• •Build automation to scale services and reduce overhead
• •Develop critical metrics using analytics and dashboards
• •Collaborate with IT organizations to meet technical goals
• •Serve as technical lead for an Agile team
• •Maintain a hands-on approach with team engineers
• •Foster a culture of operational excellence and impact
