Requirements

  • University degree in Business Administration, Economics, Engineering, or equivalent; alternatively, Meister qualification or comparable certification with relevant professional experience
  • Extensive experience in operations, engineering, sales, or related discipline supporting a global engineering team
  • Strong understanding of pre- and post-sales engineering practices, process-driven mindset, ability to drive consistency in global environments
  • Extensive knowledge of fire & security industry
  • Strong leadership skills, ability to operate in matrix organization, drive results across functions
  • Excellent analytical and interpersonal skills, strong problem-solving capabilities
  • Strong strategic thinking and execution excellence

Tasks

  • Drive continuous improvement and growth of the German engineering function
  • Work closely with installation and sales leaders to identify engineering needs
  • Support communication and awareness of pre- and post-sales engineering capabilities
  • Expand utilization of the GCoE global engineering team across the region
  • Harmonize engineering standards and processes into a regional/global model
  • Leverage GCoE processes to enhance efficiency and scalability in pre- and post-sales engineering
  • Identify quick wins and support short-term and long-term strategies
  • Prepare pre- and post-sales engineering teams to support new products and innovations
  • Standardize and simplify processes for pre- and post-sales application engineers

  • approx. 4 - 6 years

Education

  • Vocational certificationOR
  • Bachelor's degree
