Requirements

  • B.S./M.S. in Electrical Engineering or related field
  • Years of Automotive HW development experience
  • 3 years in Architect or Lead role
  • Experience with Zonal or BCM architectures
  • Knowledge of high-current PCB design
  • Thermal management and semiconductor selection knowledge
  • Experience with E-fuses and wire-harness protection
  • Ability to perform WCA, Thermal Simulations, and FMEA
  • Strategic thinking and good communication skills
  • Leadership of cross-functional global HW teams

Tasks

  • Define end-to-end hardware architecture for power distribution
  • Focus on E-fuses, smart switching, and power sequencing
  • Lead the hardware engineering team through the platform lifecycle
  • Ensure design reuse and modularity across OEM requirements
  • Drive technical strategy for Request for Quotations
  • Transform customer requirements into hardware concepts and BOM estimations
  • Implement ISO 26262 functional safety requirements up to ASIL-D
  • Evaluate emerging technologies like GaN, SiC, and advanced MOSFET packaging
