- Basic knowledge on management and conservation of biodiversity
- Strong background in qualitative social science methods
- Knowledge of quantitative methods is an asset
- Knowledge in biodiversity management and conservation
- Knowledge in nature-based solutions
- Knowledge in biodiversity offsets or credits
- Interest in agricultural systems and farmland management
- Experience with agricultural systems and farmland management
- Understanding of implications for biodiversity and policy
- Ability to take responsibility for work packages or initiatives
- Collaboration in interdisciplinary teams
- Engagement with diverse stakeholders
- Excellent English language skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Excellent organizational skills
- Ability to coordinate complex processes
- Proficiency in German is a significant asset
- Proficiency in other European languages is a significant asset
Tasks
- Lead stakeholder engagement and co-production processes
- Co-develop sector-specific scenarios for future developments
- Collaborate with nature and bird conservation stakeholders
- Engage with the business and finance sector
- Integrate stakeholder knowledge into biodiversity models
- Conduct stakeholder mapping and analysis
- Identify key actors and their roles in biodiversity management
- Design and facilitate participatory co-production processes
- Develop and refine actionable measures and indicators
- Assess feasibility and acceptance of measures
- Contribute to sector-specific scenarios for impact forecasting
- Apply systems thinking to scenario development
- Identify and communicate trade-offs and synergies
- Facilitate transdisciplinary collaboration
- Ensure accurate reflection of stakeholder and policy-relevant measures
- Communicate model assumptions, outputs, and limitations
- Publish findings in leading interdisciplinary journals
