Requirements

  • •PhD degree in materials science, engineering, or related disciplines
  • •Experience as experimental materials researcher with modelling or data-driven methods
  • •Previous experience as data steward or within NFDI Consortia or MaterialDigital Platform
  • •Experience in the ELM or biomaterials field
  • •Interest in digitalization of the ELM community
  • •Self-driven and hands-on personality
  • •Organization and prioritization skills
  • •Very good communication skills in English

Tasks

  • •Coordinate the digitalization of the ELM community
  • •Develop code for semantically annotated data structures
  • •Create metadata schemes for ELM research methods
  • •Lead the development of ELM-dedicated ontology
  • •Demonstrate Data Science applications in ELM research
  • •Promote digitalization within the ELM community
  • •Attend workshops and present results at conferences
  • •Document work and report to project coordinators
