Requirements

Tasks

  • Familiarize yourself with stellarator plasma edge magnetic geometry
  • Optimize the divertor island chain magnetic geometry
  • Develop metrics for integration into optimization approaches
  • Investigate island internal fieldline pitch influence on performance
  • Analyze magnetic shear and island size across resonances
  • Collaborate intensively with experts across Greifswald and Garching sites
