Requirements

  • 5+ years project/portfolio management in technology/IT
  • Manage technology portfolio: prioritization, dependency, risk, benefit tracking
  • Strong financial/analytical skills for portfolio performance and resource planning
  • Proficiency with PPM tools (MS Project/Project Online, ClickUp/Azure DevOps) and Power BI/Excel
  • Solid understanding of project/portfolio governance frameworks and implementation
  • Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills
  • High attention to detail, disciplined approach to data quality/reporting
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, Engineering, or equivalent experience

Tasks

  • Establish and lead Portfolio Management practice
  • Align technology initiatives with strategic goals
  • Design and implement portfolio frameworks and governance
  • Manage portfolio end-to-end
  • Monitor and steer portfolio performance
  • Ensure project and portfolio reporting completeness
  • Validate portfolio-level reporting
  • Notify senior leadership of report availability
  • Present project progress and health
  • Identify and manage portfolio risks
  • Maximize project throughput
  • Prioritize portfolio with strategic objectives
  • Support project intake and shaping
  • Forecast and report resource capacity
  • Assess and manage initiative dependencies
  • Coordinate mitigation and escalation
  • Strengthen project management standards
  • Establish intake and prioritization processes
  • Provide guidance to project managers
  • Support governance for technology investments
  • Prepare portfolio reports and dashboards
  • Facilitate governance meetings
  • Ensure follow-up on decisions
  • Contribute to continuous improvement
  • Facilitate cross-functional collaboration
  • Represent PMO in steering committees
  • Promote best practices
