Requirements

  • •MSc in Power Electronics or equivalent
  • •Laboratory or R&D experience (advantageous)
  • •Knowledge of wide-bandgap semiconductor devices
  • •Experience in semiconductor characterization
  • •Familiarity with gate-driver and PCB design
  • •Experience in power electronics packaging characterization
  • •Knowledge of MATLAB, Simulink, or Python (advantageous)
  • •Target-oriented mindset and eagerness to learn
  • •Very good English and teamwork skills

  • •Analyze literature to identify MV PV and ESS trends
  • •Research high-voltage switches using SiC power devices
  • •Develop gate-driving techniques for voltage balancing
  • •Design packaging technologies for series-connected SiC devices
  • •Implement packaging solutions for high-voltage devices
  • •Demonstrate proof of concepts in a lab environment
  • •Attend academic conferences to identify future trends
  • •Document findings through patents, reports, and publications
