PhD Student AI-based GraphRAG Parking Functions(m/w/x)
Designing knowledge graphs for AI-based parking functions at automotive manufacturer. Formal methods and graph technologies knowledge required. 30 vacation days, 24.12. & 31.12. off.
Requirements
- University degree in cybernetics, computer science, mathematics, physics, or comparable field
- Programming experience (Python, Cypher, CI/CD) and willingness to work with graph technologies
- Knowledge or research interest in formal methods, AI, graph theory, ontologies, requirements engineering
- Ability to abstract and model complex system relationships
- English language level C1
- Analytical, structured, self-driven working style with intrinsic motivation for research
- Problem-solving skills and drive to understand and implement novel approaches
Tasks
- Design nearly deterministic knowledge graph for text-based requirements
- Define domain-specific semantic model and ontology
- Implement reasoning mechanisms for verifiable GraphRAG queries
- Develop end-to-end scalable minimum viable product (MVP)
- Use approved toolchains for MVP development
- Evaluate approaches with real-world parking function requirements (SAE Level 2)
- Validate approaches with real-world parking function requirements (SAE Level 2)
- Demonstrate correctness of generated results
- Ensure completeness of generated results
- Maintain traceability of generated results
- Ensure certifiability of generated results
- Collaborate closely with industrial and academic partners
