Requirements
- Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Systems, Control, or related field
- Strong mathematical background and interest in robotics, robot learning, Transfer Learning, machine learning, Deep Active Learning, Multi-modal Active Perception and Learning, AI-based Control Architecture, Human-Machine Interaction
- Extensive practical software development experience, preferably in C/C++ and Python
- Experience with deep learning frameworks (e.g. PyTorch, Tensorflow)
- At least one publication in top IEEE conferences or top journals
- Efficient communication skills in English; German is an advantage
- Valid residence or work permit for citizens outside the European Union
Tasks
- Develop Multi-Modal Perception and Learning for intelligent interactive systems
- Implement and validate advanced frameworks in robotic systems
- Collaborate with an international team of AI/ML and robotics experts
- Conduct research at the RoboTac Lab in Munich
- Access cutting-edge resources, including advanced hardware and robotic platforms
- Showcase research at leading international conferences
