Requirements
- •Master’s degree or equivalent in electrical engineering, telecommunication, computer science, physics, or a closely related field
- •Partly qualified European patent attorney, further European national patent attorney qualification is a plus
- •At least 3 years of experience after European Qualifying Examination
- •Experience at a top law firm and/or in-house experience with large information, communication, and telecom companies
- •Open-mindedness and ability to collaborate in a fast-paced commercial environment within a multinational team
- •Excellent written and oral communication skills in English (legal English) and good command of German
- •Collaborative and responsible team-player mentality
- •Goal-oriented forward thinking and acting

- •Implement Huawei’s global patent portfolio management strategy in Europe
- •Strengthen claims to align with business goals and licensing scenarios
- •Manage patent portfolios across various technical fields
- •Prepare, draft, file, and prosecute patent applications
- •Respond to office actions in collaboration with inventors and colleagues
- •Review and evaluate invention disclosures and claim charts
- •Conduct interviews with examiners regarding patent applications
- •Support patent and technology licensing activities in Europe
- •Prepare and review technical documents for litigation
- •Perform patent infringement and validity analyses
