Requirements

  • •M.Sc. or higher in Aerospace Engineering, Space Engineering, Applied Mathematics, Applied Physics, Computer Science, or a closely related field, or equivalent professional experience
  • •Minimum of 2 years of relevant industry experience
  • •Strong theoretical and practical knowledge of astrodynamics, orbital mechanics, and flight dynamics
  • •Ability to write robust, maintainable code in a compiled or high-level language
  • •Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative, and research-driven environment
  • •Valid working permit for Germany/EU

  • •Design and implement algorithms for orbit propagation
  • •Develop algorithms for orbit determination

  • •Apply best practices in CI/CD, testing, and maintainability
  • •Contribute to SSA/STM platform features from concept to deployment
  • •Ensure scalability and reliability of developed features
  • •Run validation and verification campaigns with real-world datasets
  • •Benchmark and improve system performance
  • •Support institutional projects for space agencies like ESA and DLR
  • •Prepare technical documentation and ensure compliance with standards
  • •Collaborate with aerospace engineers and software developers
  • •Work with business teams to deliver operational solutions
