Tasks

• •Set up time-sensitive commodity orders for success
• •Provide proactive customer updates on order deviations
• •Track order status progression from start to finish
• •Perform all Operations Specialist II responsibilities
• •Resolve escalated issues independently using available resources
• •Assist team members with escalations and questions
• •Apply margin and total cost knowledge to charge approvals
• •Maintain expertise in international, import, and export regulations
• •Balance service quality, speed, and cost against customer margins
• •Make strategic carrier choices based on service agreements and error rates
• •Minimize errors and service failures
• •Make educated decisions under pressure
• •Anticipate and mitigate problems before they surface
• •Maintain a valid Dangerous Goods Certification
• •Adhere to current Dangerous Goods policy procedures
• •Resolve team member inquiries regarding Dangerous Goods orders
• •Develop knowledge of additional sector processes
• •Provide SOP guidance in collaboration with leadership
• •Uphold team expectations by leading by example
