As an Operations Manager, you will oversee service and installation operations, ensuring workshops deliver top-notch service while managing performance metrics. Your role involves mentoring teams, liaising with customers, and driving continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements

• •Solid background in Service/Operations and commercial role
• •Degree in Business Studies, Commercial or Technical Qualification
• •Mandatory knowledge of vehicle construction and bodybuilding operations
• •Proven experience in managing workshops, personnel and staff development
• •Ability to manage P&L, cost control and busy workshop environment
• •Knowledge of Health & Safety in workshop setting
• •Dynamic personality, results-driven with excellent communication and customer-facing skills
• •Proficiency in German and English
• •Driving license and 40% travel

Tasks

• •Oversee and manage Workshop Managers and Service teams
• •Liaise with central functions to ensure efficient operations
• •Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives using Lean and Six Sigma
• •Ensure effective resource allocation and workforce planning
• •Develop and mentor employees through training and evaluations
• •Visit customers to assess needs and negotiate prices and delivery times
• •Collaborate with technical support to assist customers
• •Evaluate customer satisfaction for continuous improvement
• •Manage costs, margins, and overall profitability
• •Take ownership of workshop P&L and maximize financial performance
• •Travel as required within and outside the area
• •Support safety initiatives by reporting unsafe conditions and participating in audits
